Col (Rtd) Charles Owino

Director General

Charles Owino is a disciplined and self-driven leader with over three decades of local military and international public-service experience. His expertise includes operational and strategic planning, peace support operations, project management, leadership, logistics, human resources, counter-terrorism crisis management, and disaster risk management.

As Director General, he guides Chapaken’s quality-tailored, client-first, and systematic approach to practical consultancy.

Col (Rtd) Richard Kenduiwa

Partner and Consultant

Richard Kenduiwa is a retired Kenya Air Force Colonel with over 35 years of experience in strategic leadership, administration, finance, operations, and disaster management. He served as Deputy Director at the National Disaster Operations Centre, Colonel General Staff at JSC Karen, and Commanding Officer for Logistics and Administration at Laikipia Air Base.

He oversees administration, finance, and operations, and leads training in disaster risk reduction and strategic management.

Col (Rtd) Patrick Nyakundi

Partner and Consultant

Patrick Nyakundi is a highly motivated and resilient retired military professional with experience in military defence operations, disaster risk management, crisis management, security management, counselling, instructional technology, personnel management, and organizational efficiency.

He brings strong root-cause analysis, technical problem solving, and team leadership to Chapaken’s advisory and training work.
